  1. Red Eyes are a common side effect of excessive exposure to marijuana. You may want to check if you hamster has has been exposed to drugs in the last few days.

  2. Have you just got your hamster? Or have his eyes turned red over-night, if they have over-night or his eyes are discharging anything I would take him to the vet as he may have conjuntivitis. If you have just got your hamster, then it is more than likely to have the albino gene which means your hamster is probably a pale colour or white with pink/red eyes. The albino pigment is a lack of all colour pigment within its genetic code, I myself have blue eyes and yours maybe brown/green etc but your hamster doesn't have a colour on his eyes so you can merely see the blood passing by under his eyes ( which is 100% normal) - albino animals are very common in the UK.

  3. Maybe she is sick! Call your vet to be sure everything is fine! :)

  4. most guine pigs eyes are red so there eyes can be develeping or normally red go to ur vet if you are unsure

  5. eloise18 has very good advice.

Albino hamsters have red eyes.  It is perfectly normal.

My daughter always went for the ones with red eyes.  She has had three.

  6. i THOUGHT  the same exact thing sometimes it's hard to tell if they are red or not. if it's a baby it's eyes are probably developing.
