Ok sims 2 for pc alien abduction...helllppp?

ok so i used the alien abduction cheat (boolProptestingCheatsEnabledtrue) at night and as i was clicking the telescope i pressed shift but the alien abduction option didn't come up am i doing anything wrong??? i also have the most expensive telescope...
