me and my bestfriend/ex thing well we have unprotected s*x often. but he puts a condom on when he feels like he is gonna go. (stupid i know) well i got my period in june. then we had s*x in june i didnt get my period in july but i took a pregnancy test and it said not pregnant. ok we had s*x again. and i still didnt have my period. then in august i got something that was sort of like my period but not really. kinda like spotting but not really. so i freaked and i just took another pregnancy test last night cause my (so called period thing) ended last week sometime. but the pregnancy test said that i was not pregnant. but my friend recently had a baby and she told me she had her period for 6 months while she was pregnant. so the pregnancy test that i took yesterday said that i was not pregnant. but like idk if i am since my period wasnt really here this month. but i also only get my period 9 or 10 times a year. do you think im pregooo?

  1. maybe, get a blood test done they are more accurate

  2. Some women don't get a positive result when they are pregnant because they don't make enough of the  certian hormone. Try a different brand of test and make sure you're doing it completely right. then go to your dr and ask for a bloodtest if you really think you are.

But it really sounds like you aren't.

  3. "but like, idk"?? God, i hope youre not pregnant. just what we need.

  4. I dont think that you are, but like others have said, you should see a doctor. The home pregnancy tests could be wrong.

  5. the best thing you can do is call your doc. they can give you an ultrasound if you really want to be sure.

  6. Trust your body, noone knows it better than you. I have had two children so I kind of know what to expect. Is there any morning sickness? Are your b*****s tender? A spotty period can be from numerous things. My suggestion to you is to go to a free clinic or your ob/gyn and have a blood sample taken and tested. If you aren't planning to have a family yet and condoms aren't for you talk to your Dr. about different B/C's. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

  7. pregnancy tests can be really effed up sometimes.. i just had a pregnancy scare also and i took four tests in two days and two of them said i was and two said i wasnt. the spotting can happen a few weeks after the intercourse during implantion or some word like that lol but about 25% of women have that a few weeks after the s*x and then mistake for their period.. so i would probably go to the doc and get checked out or wait it out a little longer to see if you get your period.. but the pregnancy tests really arent always that reliable..

  8. go to the doctors

  9. You need to re-take the test - only this time take the test using your first urine in the morning and buy a name brand test (I recommend Clear Blue Easy Digital).  You may also want to collect the urine in a disposable cup and then dip the test stick in it (both easier and more effective).  If it still comes out negative - then I would go to Planned Parenthood and ask them for a test (they have better quality ones than what is sold in stores) or you may want to request a blood test from your doctor.  There is a much higher chance for a false-negative than there is for a false-positive and it sounds to me like you could be pregnant.

If you aren't pregnant you should consider going on the birth control pill (if you can) so that you won't have to worry about this in the future.  Planned Parenthood can set you up on the Pill for low or no cost if you don't have insurance.  This website will give you the addresses and phone numbers of the centers in your area: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

    Good luck!

  10. it is always a possiblity when you have s*x and i did get my period for the first three months with my oldest. if you want to feel better make an appt with the doctors for a blood test.
