Ok. so how much electricity does it really save when you unplug everything when you leave the house?

my bf and i just bought a new place. before we go to work or anywhere really we unplug most everything in the house. we are curious if it actually makes a difference on the electricity bill.

  1. The Audio and Video Systems wont consume much while they are on standby state. I would say, negligible. You can just turn their manual switches OFF. Instead of pulling out their cords from the wall

    The fridge is the one eating up those currents but you can't turn it OFF if you leave your house unless you have no perishable goods inside.


  2. Yes yes your electric bill will be a whole lot cheaper. Also save money by opening the windows instead of A/C. But if u do leave the A/C on it will be more. But since you unplug everything it will be way cheaper.

  3. Hmm.. It moneywise, I think around 300 a month, just geussing. I don't know how much you have to pay. Another geuss would be 500.
