Ok so i am 13 days into my ortho tri cyclen pills, ?

so im a 3 to 4 day period girl so counted and noticed that i might have my period on a upcoming trip on Oct 7th i started my pills on the 12th while on my p my period lasted longer then usual i am expecting because of the pill and i had some spotting that stoped ok so i countd my pills and my last day of the green pill will be the day i heading on my trip but i would like to know if yur on the pill do your p automatically changes to a 7 day cycle since theres 7 green pills? i know i can stop it from coming alltogether but can i shorten my p or maybe have it come a week earlier so i can be in a clear zone so

honestly if you dont want your period your best bet is just to skip the sugar pills and go straight to the next pack you may have spotting but thats it. but please dont do this all the time it can cause health problems
