Ok so i am a cubs fan and i went to cubs.com and you can get txt messages on youyr phone for game updates but?

Yes. Depending on what plan you have with your cell phone company (unlimited texting or however many cents per), you could be charged for it.

Yeah cell phone companies suck.  Unless your phone plan is set up to receive unlimited text messages you will be charged after you reach your limit.  The disclaimer is there to remind you that, and for others who do not have a text messaging plan they will be charged by the cell phone company the standard rate.

If you have unlimited text messages in your plan you should be fine. If not, then after you go over your limit you will be charged for each text message you receive.
