Ok so i got this book for summer reading. it sucks! help!?

so i got the book I, coriander. it is sooo sooo bad. like i cant even force myself to read it. but we have to talk about it in social studdies next year help,

I read that book in 6th grade and I thought that it was really good. My advice is to suck it up. Everyone has to read books they don't exactly enjoy for school
