  1. I don't know about the scratch, but here's how I clean mine.

I take a dry swiffer cloth and put it on my swiffer pole (idk what it's really called).  Then I get my Antibacterial Windex and spray a section of my floor then mop it up with the dry cloth.  It cleans the floor and no streaks.

My neighbor thought I was crazy, but now she does it this way too.

  2. You may have voided your warranty on your flooring by doing all of this stuff to it, so my best advice at this point is STOP!  And see what your warranty entails (if there is a warranty.. which... I hope there is????)

  3. There will always be rude people out there that have to put others down to make themselves feel better.

I haven't found a really good way of cleaning mine either, but as for the scratch . . . .

First, did it scratch through the coloring on the laminate?  If it did, how are your painting skills?  I had a place on mine that needed repair & I tried the stuff they sell at Home Depot & Lowes.  Problem was that the floors are not a solid color, there is grain in the wood.  I filled with the tube of repair stuff from Lowes that was suppose to match my floors.  Got out my trusty acrylic paints and a tiny paint brush and made a stab at touchung up the paint so it would match the surrounding grain.  I used 4 or 5 different colors of browns, lights, darks, and a red tone.  Anyway, when it matched to my satisfaction, I coated it with a poly that would seal it.  It has been over a year & you can't even tell where it was.

  4.   Other than replacing the board(s)all you can do is replace the boards.. As for cleaning... On every job I installed I used a spray on product made especaily for laminate floors.. The one I used was by Quick Step but there all close to the same.. Then I used a swivel head "mop" the kind that was the washable terri cloth head.. Never use water .. Water and wood don t mix  GL

  5. Different flooring requires different kind of care. If I were you I'd go back to the place that you purchased your flooring and I would ask them about that specific flooring, how to fix the scratch and also how to clean it.
