  1. recruiters have it harder then you think!  My husband was a recruiter and its nothing but work work work so the guy might have been trying to help you instead of s***w you.  The headquarters dont always work with the recruiters like they are supposed to.  I would suggest going back to your old recruiter because they have do a lot of work just to get you started aind if that guy loses you to another recruiter then you set him back and thats just not right.

  2. You need a GED at a minimum to enlist. It sure doesn't look like it from the way you write. Try the free practice ASVAB here before you retake.

  3. If I were you, I would demand a retake.

These guys get a commission of of every enlistment, and if he misplaced your papers, forgot to turn them in, etc..

He could just be buying time for himself.

And... also, if you do get a retake, PLEASE, for your own good, copy everything you sign.

  4. Think of the recruiter as similar to a car salesman. If you qualified, he would be hounding you to sign the enlistment form. If you did not qualify, he may be trying to decide if he really wants to give you another shot at it and will stall until he has made up his mind.

  5. Its hard to tell what's really going on with your recruiter.  He had no reason to lie to you.  If he didn't think he could get you in the Army, he would have told you.

FOR LIBERTY:  Recruiters don't receive commissions for enlistments.  Don't know who told you that one.  If your husband honestly believes he was cheated out of two ranks, then he needs to apply the the Board of Corrections to get it fixed, get back pay, etc.

  6. Easy answer...don't join the army! Go back to school or something. If you've got no choice then join the coast guard or the navy or the air force...probly not gonna get in the air force with a 29 though. DON'T JOIN THE ARMY! If you have to join the d**n marines. At least they still have some pride and espirit de corps.

  7. first you need to learn how to spell b/c that was just hard to read!

but yes your recruiter is like a car salesmen his job to is to get you in the navy and meet his quota

make sure you get everything you can out of him if you dont get what you want tell him your thinking of taking a trip over to the marines or somthing then he will def. tighten up!
