  1. Do you have the Stratus Coupe? I have an 04 Strat Coupe R/T

  2. Super charging produces higher horse power levels by compressing the fuel/air mixture and forcing more of it into the combustion chambers. Super chargers are driven off of the crank shaft, so, they are always producing boost. That's why they are often favored over turbo chargers. A turbo is driven by the exhaust gasses and needs time to "spool up" before it starts producing boost. This isn't so with the supercharger. The problem with either method is heat. When air is compressed, it's temperature is raised. This leads to all kinds of problems, the worst of which is pre-ignition. That can lead to catastrophic engine failure a.k.a. a blown engine.

I assume you are talking about an intercooler. If so, there are two types. Air to air intercoolers coolers run the air through a series of tubes that have fins around them like a radiator, the air flowing around the tubes cools the air inside them, also like a radiator. Liquid to air intercoolers run the air through a series of tubes that are inside another series of tubes which are filled with some type of liquid-usually water. The liquid absorbs the heat from the air in the tubes and dissipates it into the air flowing over the outer tubes, much like the other type does.

Air to air intercoolers are cheaper than liquid to air. They are also a simpler design and easier to install.
