  1. Go ahead and Install AVG Or AVAST.  I wouldn't wait.

Sounds to me that you're infected.

Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. I suggest Avast OR AVG.

Running Spybot and Defender, with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition.

Windows Defender and Spybot are 2 really good Spyware Programs.

Links Below are Programs that WILL Help. They are FREE.

I have Both AVG and Spybot on my computer.

    AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5.519

    Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2

    Avast

    Ccleaner

    Hope this helps.

    Good Luck

  2. I would say that you do have a virus

Go ahead and install your other (avg) program.

Never heard of Kaspersky, but if you want an operating system that is FREE and never gets a virus, you should get Ubuntu, a Linux version

There is even a website, Ubuntu.org and you can  download the operating system for free. Or, you can order the disk and just pay shipping. It is all mouse and click, and youdont have to be geeky to run it. You can even install a dual boot and have the pick of Linux or windows. ..... I always use ubuntu.....
