Ok so if there is a ticketmaster here in my town can i buy tickets to a different venue from my town?

yes. the locations of ticketmaster do the same thing that you do at home. they go to www.ticketmaster.com and look for the best tickets available. if you have time and patience you will have better luck because you can research for tickets, while they probably won't do that for you.

You can, but it's also really easy just to go to the website and purchase tickets online! I've done it before and I prefer it more.
