Ok so is santa really real?

I've spent my whole life thinking he existed but just recently I've second guessed what I've always been told. Please tell me the truth because I don't want to go on believing a lie.

Sure Santa's real. Saint Nicholas existed that is. While he was alive he was known for his generous nature and secretive gift giving. We keep this tradition alive today with the invention of Santa Claus. So yes, in spirit he is still alive when ever we give gifts to each other from "him".

I'm not religious but historical evidence does point towards this and I find the idea of letting kids believe in Christmas magic nice. Plus who doesn't love getting mystery gifts.
