  1. Why do you fib anyway? Is it just a habit or simply you are doubtful that whoever asks you or confront you about the topic, you know its not pleasant or that they will react negatively to your way of reasoning?

  2. think before you talk.

  3. Stop lying and tell the truth!

  4. because whats really going on sucks so u have to make it sound better maybe u should look at ur life and try things diff so u can want to tell people the truth about u

  5. Stop moving your lips.

  6. the pregnant "princess" is repulsive and thats the turth..

  7. tell your parents to beat you more.

  8. It really depends on what you're lying about.

I myself (and my brother) both have a problem with lying pathologically. He's a LOT worse than I am about it, and I've been struggling to keep it under control.

My problem is that I sort of...expand the truth? And if I come up with something that would be a good story to tell someone, I usually tell it as happening to me, and never let anyone know the truth. I've done it a few times, rarely to my Mom, but a lot to friends, or people online.

It's sort of a, "Hey, that would be hilarious if that happened right now!" and it plays out in my head, and then I tell people it really happened.

It's a problem, and I just have to recognize the urge to tell the fake story, and refrain from doing so.

It helps usually to tell what I'm thinking, and instead of saying it actually happened, put in, "Would it be crazy if...." and then tell it. That way you can still say what you want, but it's not a lie.

I also just found out my little cousin has the same problem. Guess it's genetic??
