Ok so my MP3 player got water in it and stopped playing?

Can it be repaired?

Can I repair it on my own? if no will it be expensive?

  1. Probably can't be repaired. Most likely you short circuited it and it would cost a lot to get it fixed. The best thing to do is to buy another one and stop letting water get on it.


  2. Just call up the company and tell them it just stopped working.

    If it still has a warranty on it, you might get lucky and have it replaced.

    I know it's morally wrong, but companies s***w over the consumer enough, it's time it's our turn.

  3. Do not try to turn it on until it has had time to COMPLETELY dry out. If you can take the case apart, do that to help the drying process. It may live again, but if you try to operate it too soon you can easily cause further, and worse, damage.

  5. if it is sony MP3 player, u cant repai for urself and u have to goto near by sony service center.. its doesnt tht much expensive.

  6. water is really bad for it most likely its dead

    i've had a couple of mibles exposed to water

    only one of them worked after

    try opening it up and blow drying it
