Question:

Ok so today was my first football practice of the season and...?

by the first 10 min i was like dizzy and dehydrated. i had to ask the coach if i cud go over and get some water. and it didn't help that my helmet bad that goes across me hear was like digging into my head. but i got a new one. but yea so i was like almost ready to lay down and take a nap on the grass i was so exhausted. but i toughed it out and got threw 2 1/2 hours of it. and I'm a little heavy for my age, I'm 14 years old 5'10 180 pounds. and me and my dad work out at a gym near my house at least twice a week on a bad week. so i guess i was out of shape to start the season. so if this continues then i have no clue what'll happen. I'm pretty much only doing this to loose weight, cuz last year i lost like 10 or 20 pounds, maybe more. so what should i do to not have a day like i just had a few hours ago? thanks

  1. well it was ur first day come on...ive played football for 8 years and the first couple weeks are pretty g*y actually and it isnt till the season is really under way till it gets fun again. And trust me nobody is really in shape the 1st day so ur just like everybody else  


  2. Drink a s**z load of water and just takes breaks, your body should be used to it...

  3. What position do you play/ Maybe you should drink water and stretch or get mor sleep or eat a little before or something

  4. Drink 2 8 oz. glasses of water during every meal and 1 between every meal and you should be ok. Usually it is just the first practice of the season is the day where you are dehydrated and stuff. It will get easier. Trust me. I have played 4 years of football and counting.
