Ok so what would you see then?

oh yeah, for the first dude, this is an entirely hypothetical question... if i wanted to hear 'you can't go faster then light' then i would have just read countless articles smeared all over the web.... i want to know HYPOTHETICALLY what you would see.

nothing.. my body would be blocking the 'light wave' from reaching the mirror.... I might have an 'aura' of light showing around my body and see that in the mirror, but that's about it....

It was reasoning like this that caused Einstein to come with his Special Theory of Relativity.

The result:

You can't travel at the speed of light, so it doesn't make sense to talk about what you would see.

If you were travelling at close to the speed of light (even 99.9999999%) then you would see exactly the same in the mirror as you do when at rest.

If you are in a jet plane.. traveling faster than sound (Concorde)  what you are saying is... If we speak.. our voices would be a couple of feet behind us.. we would hear silence.  We know this is not true. What ever velocity we fly at.. Image and sound flies with us. Hope that helps.
