Ok so which novel do you recommend I read?

I've been given two different choices of novels to read. The first one is The Scarlett Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne . The second is The Crucible by Arthur Miller. I'm in the 11th grade and I was wondering which is more interesting to read?? Honest opinions please!

Don't watch the film of the crucible because it has winona ryder in it, it was god d**n awful. the scarlett letter is by far the better of the two.

If you want to watch the movie, the Crucible stars Winoma Ryder and Daniel Day-Lewis. Both are good, though.

"The Scarlett Letter" is very interesting. It deals with self-righteousness, judgment, forgiveness, love, and compassion. It was definitely written before its time. The end is unforgettable.
