Ok some Pinworm Questions.?

I just found out we have pinworms. YUK!! Well I bought the Reese's Pinworm medicine at walgreen's and we all took the first dose today. Is the Reese's good stuff? It's giving me horrible stomach cramps but doesn't seem to be affecting kids or hubby like that. Does it work on these things? How long does it take to kill them? Also, some people say to take a follow up dose in 10 days and others say 2 weeks. Which one is it? Does it make a difference? Will Lysol kill the eggs on surfaces, furniture, and toys?

Any other tips or advice are much appreciated!

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) has a great fact sheet on pinworms.  As a nurse, I use the CDC website a lot to print educational materials for patients. All I know is that crapola tastes soooo bad....Sorry you had to take it.  I never had to follow up twice.  I just washed linens
