They are easily stressed, that's probably what they meant.  Things like predators (even your cat or dog) outside a cage harassing them, bathing in water, and anything else you could imagine would cause your rabbit distress could cause a heart attack.  Just use common sense and your bunny will be fine.

my bunnies just had a baby, so i just talked to my vet today, its not too much excitement they die from, its that they can get shocked very easily. just dont go scaring them really badly and they will be fine. also if u scare them too much and they squirm and kick in a funny way they can hurt their spine so be careful
