  1. Don't freak out. Just make sure you have tampons handy, get up a little earlier in the morning when you are due so that you can check and be sure if you have your period or not. No it's not healthy to use a tampon when you are not on your period, it makes you too dry and Toxic Shot Syndrome is related to using tampons, especially using them while not on your period. If you're worried about starting while at school, keep a few handy in a small zip-up bag in your purse and just don't be embarrassed to use the restroom. Any PE teacher or educational teacher should know that a girl needs to use the restroom when she needs to use the restroom! =) And  when you do have your period, maybe you can just make sure that before your swim class you go to the restroom and use a new tampon just so you can have confidence during your class.

  2. Sure you could practice but just take it out right away because it's not real good for your body to have it in for no reason.  Don't worry, swimming will be a breeze and no one will know you have your period.

  3. no it is very unhealthy and extremely bad to but in one if you're not having your period. you can get a disease. i'm not trying to scare you or be mean i'm just making you aware.

    don't worry you'll be fin
