Ok...this might sound like a stupid question....In what language does murali and Mendis talk?

I am just wondering since they r both in the same team and stuff

they need to talk to each other.............thanx for the answers

Murali is from Kandy.  Most people there speak Sinhala, Well everyone there speaks sinhala.  I am from Kandy too so I know.  

And Murali speaks sinhala because I've seen him on a lot of Sri Lankan sinhala TV programs.  

Also when SL is fielding, if you understand Sinhala you can understand what they are saying because they yell too loud.  And almost all words are in Sinhala, even murali speaks in sinhala on the field.

Well certainly Murali can speak Sinhala, so do most of the tamils living in colombo including me. I got an A for sinhala in my O/Ls' (3rd Language). :)  

i mean how do you think murali managed to play with the team for the past 15+ years. surely even if he didn't know too well at the beggining now he should be very fluent and fluent he is.

SL princess94 i did sinhala as my 3rd language or rather linklanguage.  i got a B for tamil for my O/Ls. :)

i think that murli is a tamil or his wife is a indian tamil so he might know how to speak in tamil but since he is srilankan he might know sinhalese aswell ....they might communicate in sinhalese....

LOL the funny thing is murli has tamil connections and mendis is or was in the srilankan army...

as far as i know the army and tamils dont get along...
