  1. Naw, that's not stupid at all. I'm a Leaf fan who sometimes cheers for the Habs and even the Sabres on occassion (assuming they're not playing the Leafs). As a matter of fact, if they're playing Ottawa, I'd cheer for pretty much anybody. There are Leaf fans who cheer for Ottawa too, but thats only because they can't take the beating any more. Weaklings !!!

  2. It depends. More casual fans usually claim to like more than one team or follow certain players. No two teams are linked in the way that you are asking. They're two different teams.

If someone has apparel of one team, it usually indicates a favorite team.

    Hope that helps.

  3. <-- I'm a HUGE Devils fan, and I don't like the Flyers.  Division rivalry, and they're a pretty dirty team.  So many suspensions in the first half of the season, and a lot of their fans are infamous for being rowdy and violent (except the ones on YA!  they're pretty cool :)  When the Flyers play the Devils, there are a lot of fan fights...One game I was at, the Flyers lost 3-0 and I counted 4 fan fights, but there were probably more that I didn't see.

  4. Well you can like more than one team.  I am a Penguins fan and even when they were down I have rooted for the Penguins however if the devils played the flyers I always rooted for the devils.  I see no problem with people rooting for montreal and ottawa or something like that.  Most devila nd penguins fans get along.  The reason for that is because we want to see the rangers islanders, and flyers battling it out for third place.  When the devils play each other obviously we root for own team in that instance but I for one would like a penguins/devils eastern conference finals.  Let's GO Pens!  I was rooting for the devils against the flyers, unfortunately they didn't win but the Pens beat the rangers is it worked eventually.

  5. heres my situation

    big devils fan

and if i were to pick a team in the atlantic division other than nj it would be phily

other then that i hate them

rangers- h**l no, way to big of a rivalry

    islanders- eww its ny

    pittsburgh- bandwagon central BOOOO

    leaving the flyers

  6. I am a Flyers fan and NO I don't also like the Devils. The Devils are in our division and one of our biggest rivals so you're not going to find too many Flyers fans who are also Devils fans in fact I hate them the second most in hockey behind the Rangers.

**That guy-Why attack this girl like that?

  7. i agree with kurfadle devils pone

  8. No you only like one team (Rangers!!!!!!)

  9. You can like more than one team, and who cares what others think.

  10. I personally am a Devils fan and I despise the Rangers. If Im watching a flyers devils game Im always going to support the Devils but In general if I was watching another Flyers game Id support them. I also love the Penguins they are my 2nd favorite team. Flyers are just a local team I don't hate:P I think the only team I WANT to lose all the time is the Rangers

  11. You can like or dislike which ever and how ever many teams you want.  Nothing means nothing. Someone may wear the logo of a team just because it was given to them, and they may know nothing about the team.

  12. good question but if u were to ask me,,yes if u wear a team's hat yes u should like them,,what u like them for the colours,,no ,if u don't like the team then don't wear the there stuff

  13. I kinda like the Devils...but I do not like the Flyers.

  14. I do not like the Flyers, but I do like their fans.

  15. Absolutely! You can like as many teams as you want and it don't matter what anyone thinks.

I've been a Flyers fan for 33 years and recently have decided that I admire the Devils a lot because they win Stanley Cups without spending the national budget of third world nations.

There are many Flyers fans I see every day that say the Flyers are a bad luck team. I disagree. You make your own luck and I'll grant that the Flyers are trying, but they aren't trying hard (or smart) enough. I think the Flyers are living off of their darling status earned in 1974 and 1975 knowing that the Center will be filled as long as they appear to be trying to win by acquiring players with star attraction.

Now with Holmgren in charge, they seem to have the right idea and the salary cap should make for smarter management of player personnel.

Lou Lamoriello is the best executive in hockey - with all due respect toward Ken Holland.
