Ok to anyone that still plays pokemon crystal

is it at all possible to get a charmander?!??!?!?!! or in any way shape or form to get a charizard (next to getting a cable and finding some one who has one of the original games...)because i like that one

u can get it by tradeing from pokemon yellow blue and red i still play with pokemon blue
