ok well after they dentest puts the braces on u

is your face gonna be numb

and for how long?

also when u have braces does it make your mouth look bigger

or your lips?

your face wont be numb at all. and sometimes braces can make your lips look bigger, but dont worry about it. :)

No, ur face won't be numb at all. ur teeth will probably hurt.  For me, my braces only hurt for the first few days. and they might have been sore a few times when i got them tightened, but that didn't happen very often. it's different for everyone, though. i think i was one of the lucky ones. when u first get ur braces, ur lips will look a little bigger, but trust me, it goes away after a short while. so, u have nothing to worry about unless ur going to take like school pics or something right after u get ur braces on. which is exactly what happened to me in 6th grade. luckily, that's what retakes are for!

I have been wearing braces, at first they are pretty uncomfortable. no, yr face not going to be numb, however it would take really hard to eat regularly because jaw might be a bit hurt. It would be maximum a week to get use to them. braces don't make your mouth or lips look bigger. Nevertheless, sometimes the metal zinc from the braces may poke the red part inside yr mouth which can cause 'pustule'. It really hurt. i had been putting braces on for two years, dun worry u 'll get use to that. GUd luck.
