I guess it depends on your own personal needs. I'm a girl too...but I don't keep my mirror and makeup and stuff in my locker like many others do.

You just need the basics. Some extra pencils. Some paper. Just extra supplies that you might need for school. Plus you'll store your books in there. Oh and its sometimes cool to have some pictures in there too. Makes your locker unique. : )

what are you going to be a freshman?

because not all schools give freshman lockers.

mine didnt.i had to carry all my books with me all day.

grrr.

but um.

perhaps pads or tampons.

mirror.

lotion.

a shelf if your locker is long but not wide.

water or other drinks and snacks.

what ever else you think you may need.

a shelf, a mirror, a dry-erase board, a pencil holders, magnets and pics of friends, and...

a locker kit! use a small tin or pouch, etc. and fill it with extra helpful stuff. like -

-breath mints and minty gum (always handy - lol!)

-an extra lip gloss and eyeshadow (in case you forget yours, or didn't have time in the morning)

-5 extra dollars (lunch money, pay phone, buying a book for english class)

-tampons/pads (just in case...)

-safety pins ( you never know...)

-a small deodorant and perfume (never wanna be stanky! lol!)

-a small lotion ( dry skin - eww. lol!)

-chapstick

-extra pens and pencils

-gum

-a hairbrush

-etc.

at places such as target and walmart they have locker sets that have like 10 items of stuff for your locker( shelves magnets mirrors corkboard dry erase board, etc.) for 9$ add yourown look to it with pics of friends and ribbons tied into Bows you like you could even download movie posters from online make sue to bring body wash shampoo and conditioner if you have pe and mints or stuff

Well in my school no one really decorates their locker lol

But a mirror would be a good idea :D

Also some kind of organizer to put pens, pencils etc. in.

And uh,

The books you don't have to be carrying around with you? lol
