  1. You may have to work harder and really concentrate on your studies. Good luck!

  2. It sounds to me like you needed more time to adjust to high school.  Coming from being homeschooled is tough.  It's possible that your homeschooling curriculum did not properly prepare you for the grade level you entered in high school.  It's easy to fall into a habit of spending more time on the subjects you like and are good in when you homeschool, and kind of let the "hard" ones slide a little.  What does your mom see for you after high school?  Do you plan to go on to college or is there a family business you can get a job in?  If college is in the plan, you really need to stick it out in high school and learn how to study in a distractive atmosphere.

  3. if you really want to go back you have to study a lot!

  4. She said it was your decision because you didn't put in the effort you needed to get better than D's or you didn't seek out the help you needed to do better.

You weren't learning a whole lot if most of your grades are D's and C's, which means what you enjoyed at school was not the learning. Your mom cares about your education. Show that you do, too, and that you can be depended upon and maybe she'll agree to have you try again next year.

  5. At a certain point, you'll need to interact with people on a day to day basis.  Tell her that you need to learn how to overcome difficult situations, and not quit and take the easy way out because things aren't going your way in the classroom.

The easiest way to get your grades better is to talk to your teachers after class and ask for help with things you don't understand.

  6. tell her how you really feel.  tell her being in school makes you happy, and that you just need to adjust. (if that's true anyway)..

  7. Your mom is doing what she feels is best for you. If you were only there for one semester then you were still adjusting. You were probably a little behind if you were getting D's.

  8. just explain to her that you were still adjusting to the new curriculum and the new way you had to do work. if i was put back in school i know  i would get some D's too.

  9. tell her that you want to be learning at the same rate as the other students...even if it takes you longer to adjust. she'll never know how smart you COULD be unless she tries again.

  10. you have to study like crazy!!!!!!!!!!Also if you need help in classes just ask the teacher of that class or ask your mom for a tutor. My sister has one
