Ok well i tried to erase the websites i was on by going to tools and erase history and all that stuff but..

This is usually very effective. I have IE7 and if I go to Tools the first menu item is Delete Browsing History. There are five choices to delete. I am assuming the one you want is History to delete the list of places you have visited as shown in the URL bar at the top of the browser. Try it again.

Perhaps you are really talking about Search History if you have the Google or Yahoo Toolbars installed. Each of these has their own delete button.

If this kind of thing still does not work I have to ask if you are on a restricted computer or under parental controls? You may not have the authority to do this.
