  1. Stretching,

    Make Sure Your Super Stretchy.

  2. well, i would jog around the block i guess lol

idk though, im not a cheerleader haha

  3. Why not try the lil Jack workout ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr...

  4. Okay, Well im on the same page with you.  I looked up as much as i could about it on this site earlier today and nothing helped...  Mom talked me into it.  She said the cheerleaders that were in it last year will watch you then vote on which will pass the tryouts.  I found a few things they want from you:

    1.  Be loud, that way you will/might stand out from the rest.  That shows that your confident and willing to suceed.

    2. Be gracefull:  like, count the beats in your head constantly

    3. open mind.  Listen to their opinions, if you dont pass just ask them what you can do to get better and maybe get into it next year.

    4. dont be upset if they say no, and if you are dont show it just keep a happy face on even if your upset.... they will take notice in your behavior and you may make the team...

And cheerleading is probably hard... its not a easy task... Id say the main thing is strechyness, haha!  Ive allways thought 'splits' when i hear the word cheerleaders...

Okay one that will really get you 'fit' is jumping jacks.  It doesnt sound like it but heres what to do, force it until you either get cramps or cant take it any more then add about 15 more jumps into it then you can stop,  my dad was in the marines and said thats what they did with the ones that werent in shape.

Running, oooh! For doing the splits i used to.. okay here:

    1. lay on the floor

    2. put your butt against the wall

    3. legs strait up against the wall

~so its kinda like your sitting on the wall :)

    4. then just keep your legs strait and against the wall but drop them and let your left go left and right go right and it will stretch them, then just relax!  do it for as long as you can... it was a dance class thing but right after that do the splits youll find that you got lower!  Amazing how it works...

Best of luck to you and the Cheerleader tryouts... Im going from homeschooling to public school not sure what to expect but.. we shall see.. hehe!  Nice to at least try to help someone out of all the questions ive asked.. lol!  Good luck once again!
