Ok what book is this?

in grade school i read a book about like a cat and a dog who went on this adventure type thing where they thought the vegetables were evil or something so they'd stick a toothpick in the "heart" of the celery or something. its probably not that popular seeing as how ridiculous it is but i cant remember the title. its like 'the celery stalks at night" or something. i have no idea. please help

The Celery Stalks At Midnight, I believe.

The Bunnicula series? Except it talks about a bunny that the cat and the dog think are evil. I think.

God I haven't read those books in ages!
