Ok..... what kinda guitar shuld i get?

Question

I just want a guitar.. any kind... with great harmonics and a great whammy bar, already tuned for both ways. i have a stratocaster and i have been playing for three years. my price range is 100-300 dollars. thanks!

For what you're wanting, I would recommend getting a Highway One strat. If you can find a used Mexican made guitar, they work wonders. If you want to upgrade it you can always buy a new neck since they are bolt on, you can always upgrade pickups, and for the most part they can be setup well enough to play just like an American made.

A friend got one about a yr ago. Just brought over to the house a few days ago for a few "upgrades"  as his skills are better.

Bigsby Tremolo, Seymor Duncan humbuckers, and locking tuners and this 700 buck guitar is fit to ply along ANY 3000 guitar ever built. It is flat out AWESOME!! about 400bucks of upgrades, two-three hours of work and he's way beyond anything he could of bought.

Also;  look and see what they sell to fit that Squier. I believe strat parts FIT those. They sell single-coil and humbuckers already on the pick guards for less than a new guitar would cost AND they are prewired, all you have to do is the jack wires, solder those 3 wires and  put the pick guard on.
