ok so i was just driving my 2000 blazer like 5 mins. ago and when i pulled into my driveway it just stalled... completely stalled as soon as the front tires hit the driveway.. i ran perfect all day no power loss or other problems at all and after i pulled in and it stalled... it fired right back up as if nothing had happened at all... what should i check? could it possibly be water in the gas? it has NEVER done this before...

  1. its most likely a bad ground

  2. check your crank shaft position sensor, ignition control module, ignition coil and throttle position sensor

if you have crank shaft position sensor it will send a code.

if you have a throttle position sensor it will set a code

take ignition control module and coil packs off vehicle and have them tested at autozone for FREE....they will test them so you don't spend money on  new ones if not problem

Also check out autozone.com for your repair manual and trouble shooting guide...........the reason for a long explanation

is same problems 2 different cars 2 different problems

Dodge 1500 =crank shaft position sensor

    buick skylark= ignition module,ignition coil,throttle position sensor

  3. Automatic or Standard? I've done that before "Oooops :/?" Sadly it happens sometimes if we rush to hard.

  4. 1..check battery connections and replace battery if 4 yrs old or older

2..scan ck engine lite if on..free at most parts stores [advance, zone,o;reillys]

  5. The first thing that I would do is scan the computer to see what is going on but if you don't want to I would replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure.
