  1. switchbacks - end of story.

  2. Don't base your choice on what a bunch of people write on this forum. You need to go to an archery pro shop.

A pro will be able to paper tune a good broadhead for you.

I would start by looking into a MUZZY 90 grain, or similar design. The MUZZY's are a tough broadhead, and I find they fly great.

There have been many advancements in broadheads over the past 15 years, but about 15 years ago I started using MUZZY, and never stopped. It isn't broke, so I didn't try to fix it.

A Javelina is not a big animal, and I would expect that even a strong 75 grain will do.

    Good Luck

  3. The one with the rubber tip.  You're pulling 52 lbs, but I'M pulling for the javelina!  :-)

  4. Use any good cut on impact broadhead.  What I mean by this is one that is fixed blade with the blade running the full length of the ferrule.  Like the G5 Montec.  A cut on impact will provide you with the best penetration and a great wound channel.  Good hunting.

  5. At 52 lbs, I would use a good cut on contact two blade broad head like the magnus stinger. Will fly like a field point and will out penetrate any of the 3 blade heads when shot out of a 52 lb bow.
