  1. No!

Those cheeky monkeys get what they deserve.

Who in their right mind would?

    humm

I may have just answered my own question...!

  2. lol...i might consider putting my boyfriend through it if we got paid. Well, no, now that I think about it, I'd just like to see it happen! As for me, no freakin way!!

  3. LOL Never!!!! I am smarter than that!! LOL I know I can't out run one of them!! LOL Nooo Thank you!!

    *****edit******

    Ayla~~

LOL I don't feel for them either!!!  Ohhh & those momma cows can be  mean!! LOL I think thats what they get!!!! Stupid if you ask me!! LOL

    *****edit******

BB~~~~ LOL LOL Mine is 31 & I'm soo with ya! I know I can't run that fast!!!! LOL

  4. No way, lol.

I've always wanted to ride a bull, but I'm not too keen on running in front of one...

  5. A person needs to know their limitations...

My inseam is 32 inches...I DO NOT cover ground very fast at all!  Even in a blind panic!!  And I'm too short to jump up or over something to hide!

    No...I would not do this...

John is nuts too...but I do pay to see people like him do what they do...     :)   It's facinating...

    **EDIT....

****OMGOODNESS!!!!  *You ever get a strange idea...like 'I wonder?'...and go with it???  Well...I went and measured my actual inseam....

I'M SHRINKING!....or things are sagging at an astonishing rate!!

My inseam is only 29 inches!!  What is that??...Like 7.1 hands???

Well, at least my legs are still reaching my butt and the ground.  I probably couldn't outrun a one-legged chicken though...much less a bull. *sigh*

  6. Absolutely not!  And I don't have any sympathy for people who get hurt or killed doing it either.

I've hung on barn rafters, jumped in empty round bale feeders and dived in a loader with grapple forks just getting away from mad mamas when I ear tag and vaccinate calves.  I can't imagine wanting to run in front of those high strung bulls!

  7. i did something like that the other day, except they were smaller and possibly goats...but there were many and i have cuts and bruises to remember it.....Australia running of the Goats.....i think i'm probably stupid enough to do that though....bring on the bulls..

  8. Ain't noooo way!!!

I have seen this type of bull in action  at Professional Rodeos here in the U.S.

My cousin is a 5 time Wrangler World Champion Bullfighter, which involve bulls of this kind.

These things are born mean & they are smart.  After watching them in the arena, I see why they are killed after a fight.  In the U.S. they are not killed, but they learn & they get dangerous.

Nothing likle fast & mean all rolled into a four legged package with horns & the want & know how to use them.

I had my own experience with one these bulls, lucky for me he was only about 500 lbs. & his horns were still little.

There was an old rodeo bull named Crooked Nose who only had one horn, but he knew how to use it.  Ask John if he remembers him, I'm sure he does. He probably also has some stories about Borba bulls, may have even spent time in the arena with them.

    **EDIT**

John, I knew you would have met up with that big ugly bad boy at least once.  I remember him knowing how to use that horn.  He was something though....

    **EDIT**

Harry sure started a legacy with those things didn't he?

They are scary smart.  I still don't like the way the bulls in Spain are supposedly "faught", but I do know why they are killed.  You can see them thinking, working things out & something that scary, thinking....Yikes!!!

    **EDIT**

Eqquus, there is MORE than a little crazy in those guys, right John??

Before retiring, my cousin has broke his neck I believe it was twice.  The C1, once then I think it was C4,5,6 or something like that.

There is a whole lot of crazy in some of those guys, but then again, I can't imagine wanting to tie myself on the back of a ton of snot slinging hamburger with a very bad attitude either.  Can't decide who's crazier between those 2.

  9. No, I wouldn't do it.  And I think it's time that some of these moronic traditions enter the category of "past animal injustices".  Bullfights sicken me, and this is just plain stupid.

  10. H#ll NOOOOOO Ive seen some pretty horrific injuries watching guys trying to prove there manhood actually loose their manhood!   lol

  11. Yeah sure sounds like fun. What I wouldn't give to have a bull horn shoved up my @ss.

How 'bout right after that we go swimming with sharks or stick our heads in an alligators mouth???

  12. Well yes, I would absolutely do it.

Just tie me up....opps! Freudian slip!.   heh heh

    I mean SIGN me up.

    Just kidding, really....I wouldn't.

However, what I really have wanted to do since teenager - hood is ride a Brahma bull...That I WOULD do!

  13. No, but this is tradition in Spain. And why is this posted in the pets\horse section?

  14. just goes to show not everyone can be a bullfighter heck i am a pro rodeo bullfighter and i am not dumb enough to run in front of an iberian bull unless i am in my barrel or close to the panels, those guys are fast and they can turn on a dime.i have fought against the iberian bulls cousin (corriente) and a friend that i was fighting with was gored in the leg by one so i know them well.i have a sign on my fence that says"WARNING.dont cross this pasture unless you can do it in 9.9 seconds,,my bull can do it in 10 flat.

edit:yes i have been in the arena with crooked nose and he was smart enough to stick his head in the barrel then pulled it out and kicked inside the barrel and got me on the back of my neck then proceded to throw me and the barrel around the arena like i was a dog toy.it took me 1 hour with a ten pound sledgehammer to pound the dents out and my barrel still has one of the dents in it from him today.i should add that that was in 1980 and he was my first real pro bull i fought against when i first started bullfighting.

edit:that is when harry was breeding those monsters now kirsten is running the rodeo company.

  15. Hmmm -let me thinnk , er NO. Those people must be mad.

I might be tempted to volunteer my ex and one or two other people though ( or is that considered too "nasty" ??)

  16. No way!! I would NEVER do that!!!

I'm right there with ya Ayla, I have no compassion for the people who get hurt or even killed doing this. It's stupid.

  17. No way, no how!  I like being healthy and (relatively!) uninjured, thanks very much!

I just don't get it.  I mean, there's a LOT of things in life that are hard to understand, but this has got to be in the top twenty....!
