Okaay; how do chicks in a egg become yolk?

i've always wondered tht! annd i heard they give chicken steroids to make there eggs bigger! )=

  1. They don't become yolk. The fetus is IN the egg.

    The yolk is just in there as a form of food FOR the baby chick while it grows in the egg.

    It shrinks and soon dissappers once the chick has eatten it all during it's growth in the egg


  2. i think its because when the eggs are taken the chick isnt fully developed. + yeah they do give chickens steroids just like they give cows steroids & keep them constantly pregnant so they will make more milk! Basically every animal under control of farming industries recieves tons of steroids
