it is a broodmare, has champion bloodline, used in halter, and is a TWO in one package.

I will not comment on what I think of the horse, other then to say I'm looking for a draft horse or a draft horse cross and came across this ad while flipping thru my reg websites. . . what do you think of this horse????

Katie...I hear ya there...it shows who the Breyer and HOWRSE owners are...lol.

zephania666...Breathe! I bet they just put sold on there because of the blog about it...lol. Loser people that they are.

  3. Gorgeous

  4. ew gross. yuck.

  5. Or geezus.... Yes I read said website and when I did, spit all of my soda out of my nose in complete shock that these morons BRED her.

All I have to say really is.... W-T-F????

  6. ew quarter horse jug head xP

  7. Bad enough when their bad breeding practices produced this monstrosity of a mare, but then to breed her with HYPP H/H and continue the trend is just unforgivable. This is the horse equivalent of a puppy mill...

And the sad thing is that there is no shortage of people out there who want to get a horse and will throw away their money on something like that. Which is why the breeders continue to do it, I guess.

A very sad state of affairs. Am I alone in wishing that this mare be put down to end her suffering?

  8. She's a beautiful horse!!!!!!

She looks big bonned and very muscular, I think she looks like an amazing horse!

  9. no i dont reckon thats the right horse for you

  10. She looks really good

  11. hmnmm, it has a funny body shape, but very pretty!

( maybe the shape was just the angle the pic was taken from)

    very big boned!

    good luck xoxo

  12. h**l no. That horse was on FHOTD. She has a roachback and is HYPP positive. Don't know what that is, then look up a youtube video called HYPP Attack. She's in foal too... great what the QH industry promotes, isn't it?

  13. tht is so sad.

    shes like extremely overmuscled.

    i feel sorry for her.

    HYPP is awful.

    stupid pple.

  14. Look at some of these answers!?! "pretty horse" "great looking mare"

    WTF are they on!!!?!?!?

I almost choked on my water looking at this. What some people do with horses just baffles me...

  15. OMG Where do I start?

First red flag: she has HYPP.

Plus she is on meds and a brood mare?

Just what the hill is wrong with people?!?

Noticed the pedigree where they conveniently left out the obvious "Impressive" bloodlines?

Her top line is awful and those tiny little tea cup feet would have me running in the opposite direction.

So what if she has a pretty head and neck?

A horse doesn't work on its head.

And, don't even get me started on the integrity issue....grrrr

  16. ...........................................

I was going to say something. Then I was going to say a lot more. Then I decided getting reported was probably not good.

I'll keep my mouth shut about the greedy *** owners of both the mare and stud. I saw it on the blog a couple days ago. I nearly fell over when I read what she was being used for.

EDIT: WOW....... just WOW at some of these comments

EDIT: charlene ownss, what are you looking for in a horse when you point out a horses HEAD with the rest of her like that?

  17. well, shes H/H... so she shouldn't have even been born/bred in the first place.

and she looks like a camel.

come on, this is SUCH a disappointment of an add, and i have to say the photo view doesn't help at ALL.

  18. Good question. I loved the great answers. All of them. It does show who knows what and who doesn't.

    I agree, She's a sad sad thing.

  19. I think she is a very pretty horse!

  20. She's HYPP H/H

And she has a roach back

But seriously these breeders are highly unethical for breeding this horse, which her HYPP H/H status.

ETA : It's bad enough that people breed HYPP N/H horses...

and after seeing some of these comments.... wow.

  21. I think her page says sold....

Other than that, she's very pretty.

  22. I don't think I've ever seen a horse with such a weird body shape, and I don't know who would be dumb enough to buy a HYPP horse who is in foal, much less pay $1800 for an unsound horse who requires daily medication.  But, then again, there are plenty of uninformed people out there...

  23. i had pulling belgians that looked like that but a light horse with that much muscle and hypp positive i wouldnt even touch it with a ten mile pole

  24. Sad as it is, that horse is not good for much of anything except a companion.  She is just sad looking, and to breed an HYPP... my friend has a horse with this, and I see what he goes through, and to breed her on top of all that... just digusting.

Edit:  I showed the pic to my sister who just started taking English lessons a few months ago and doesn't really know much about horses yet- she didn't know what HYPP was, but her first reaction was "Wow, that's ugly."

  25. she is VERY sway backed, I know brood mares can get that way but jeez. She has a nice rear and head. I would only flush her if I was going to breed her at all and use another mare as a recip.

  26. Very beautiful, and looks very strong!

  27. An H/H BROODMARE! No.No. No.

No wonder she's so overmuscled.  She didn't have an injury as a yearling; they can't ride her because she's got HYPP.

She's also got a terribly roached back.  Basically, she looks like a blimp on legs, poor girl.  All the worst of good breeding gone wrong.

Edit: went and looked at what I figured was your unnamed site...  Yup.  I don't read that much (too much hyperventilating), but...  yea.

Notice they left out the incriminating parts of her impressive pedigree?

Poor mare.  Poor, poor overbred girl.
