  1. I can totally relate - I had a similar experience in 1981.  The Rolling Stones were coming to Seattle WA for their farewell tour and I just absolutely HAD to get to that concert.  This was going to be the last time in my life I would ever have the chance to see them LIVE in CONCERT!  I remember the frenzy at trying to get the planets to line up to make this happen.

Who knew 27 years later they would still be performing and tourning.  ( They were old in 1981! ).

The Jonas Brothers live a clean life, they were just on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine - they are going to be around for awhile.

Yes it would be a blast to see them in NY so just ask your grandfather calmly and with a well laid out plan and be prepared for whatever answer you get.  If it doesn't work out this time - you do sound creative enough to figure out a way to make it happen at some point.

  2. just saying, if your old enough to be able to use the computer, your too old for the jonas brothers.

you could take a bus and pack a tent

  3. Okay, Number 1: You don't NEED to get to New York; you WANT to go to New York.

Number 2: Why do you think you need to stay overnight, just for a concert, unless you live quite far from New York.  (State or City, BTW?)

Who do you expect to pay the bills - hotel, restaurant, etc - for this trip?  Your grandfather MIGHT agree to help you out, if you asked nicely, but he would ned your parent's permission to take you like that.
