Okay, how can I improve my wrist action and racquet head speed?

And please don't tell me some stupid response you read in a tennis magazine for beginners, like a lighter racquet or practice everyday. I do that. What is a specific exercise to get that wrist snap?

  1. It's arguable if the wrist snap makes any difference in racquet head acceleration. The wrist snap mainly comes after the contact.

    Perhaps the best way forward is to think of the laid back wrist at the point of contact. When the wrist is laid back, the only motion possible is the forward wrist snap. To prepare the laid back wrist, bend the wrist back wards on the back swing.
