So i am really frustrated. I have oily skin, and i go and get a facial every month just to keep breakouts away. My skin is also red around my nose, forehead, and cheeks (like below the eyes). I believe it's called the "t zone" anyways, i need a good foundation to keep it all covered and even. I have used so many different brands of foundation that i'm discouraged. I have used bare minerals, but it doesn't cover well and i can't get it to my liking. I've used mac, which i like b/c it covers, but it gets too cakey. now i'm using becca, the coverage is decent, but i'm always re-applying because of my oiliness and it rubs off too easily. I have a matte primer that i use (sometimes), oil free lotion, and nothing helps. Does anyone know of a good foundation to use, or another product to keep my skin from doing this? Maybe even both?......thanks

  2. Hi i'm a Max factor consultant and it would recommend maybe a Panstick from Max factor as its unbelievable coverage as you can place it where you like but otherwise you can use a foundation such as Colour adapt or Miracle touch and put our mastertouch concealer on top. its amazing at covering any redness or dark areas but always remember but concealer on top of foundation never underneath as it will simple wipe it off when you apply your foundations. Hope this helps

  3. Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

  4. I had to learn the hard way that a lot of times, foundation can MAKE you break out. I have really oily skin also, but I've learned that caking foundation over it can only worsen the situation. Believe it or not, I went an entire week without any foundation or powder on my face, and my skin started to clear up within a few days.

Sometimes skin just needs to breathe, you know? If the only time it gets to be clean is when you sleep at night then your skin gets no fresh air, no oxygen, and the oil just builds up in your pores, causing more breakouts.

Try giving your skin a break, or even switch to a light powder for a little while. You'll see, and feel, the difference:)

  5. get clinique almost powder makeup

its like a mix of foundation and powder

    its sheer and natural

if you want more coverage use this http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc...

  6. ♥ Step 1♥: Wash your face with an acne scrub. Pat dry. Wipe your face off with some oil stripping/makeup removing pads.

♥ Step 2♥: Apply a very thin layer of powder. It doesn't matter if it's even, it'll be covered up.

♥ Step 3♥: Use a concealer stick to cover your discolored/acne-related spots. Get some Almay or CoverGirl powder foundation, and dust over face. Carry it with you. Whenever your face gets oily, dab it off and apply a thin coat of foundation.

    ♥Hope I Helped♥
