with skiing goggles over my glasses, will I risk the danger of the ski goggles bouncing, or like shaking on my face, and my goggles fall off of my face, therefore risking the risk of loosing my glasses? If not, what would be the best type of goggles to purchase for skiing? this is my first time, so I need honest answers! :)

  1. I bought my husband goggles that go over his glasses

You can get them at the ski shop

  2. Just buy the goggles that are designed to go over glasses. That's what I wear. There are no problems with them at all. They're no more expensive than other goggles.

  3. Try several different goggle on over your glasses. some fit different shaped faces.  They will not slip down your face, once they are adjusted to you. They will help keep your glasses on your face.

  4. Just get goggles or sunglasses which have prescribed lenses in or wear contacts

  5. You should buy ski goggles. I've been an expert skier for 35 yrs. & I always wear goggles. Just make sure you buy a pair that don't fog up, i.e., stay away from the real cheap ones that don't have air vents. These air vents prevent fogging. My goggles never fog!!!!

Glasses will fall off easier & they move around your face & the straps are much thinner & don't stay as secure on your head & face. Also, they can get too much air in between your eyes & glasses, causing your eyes to water & this can cause ice on your glasses. Snow can also get on them.

Remember, a ski goggle strap is large, thick & adjustable. You can adjust it tight enough so it doesn't move at all. In fact, if you do it right, the strap helps keep your ski hat on more securely by holding to your head.

  6. You can buy prescribed lenses from Oakley dealers. Prescribed are good

  7. You could try contacts, and then goggles, but your goggles are attached to your helmet and if you tighten them they most likely wouldn't fall off.

    Good luck and have fun!

  8. there are sunglasses that go over glasses, they're called "Fitovers". i use them instead of using goggles - goggles that go over glasses are expensive and look silly. the fitovers block the wind just as good as goggles, and look BADA$$ i'm tellin' you. get a pair of those. though it's not a bad idea to have goggles if you plan on doing backcountry stuff or skiing in some heavy weather.

  9. get some to go over your glasses
