What ever name you choose please use a name of a person in your family (maternal or paternal) that you would like to honor by naming your son the same name. I think that it is sad when parents name their children after a popular actor in a movie or in a television series, just a popular name at the time or some other shallow source.  Doing so reveals that the parents have little regard for the people in the family or the families are so weakly organized that children are named some off-the-wall name.  Tradition is one of the reasons that family relationships survive and without this people live with a void in their life.  They might never understand what they do not have and that is sad.  The only problem that we have in my family is that we never have enough children born to honor all of the people that truly deserve to have their memories passed down through the ages.
