  1. Everything looks good except for ONE thing.

DON'T BUY SADDLE PACKAGES...they are a disaster waiting to happen. They either...

    a)Look HORRIBLE

    b)don't fit your horse

    c)don't fit you OR

    d)ALL OF THE ABOVE

They also tend to be very poorly made and brake easy. I would suggest a Wintec. They are farely cheap and will last a VERY VERY long time. People say you can't use them in a show ring...but I have won MANY classes in my old one. I would buy the all purpose saddle, bridle, and girth. If you are jumping get the brown close contact (the one I have). You may even be able to find a nice leather saddle on Ebay (be carful on there though) or in a local tack store (used ones).

Make sure the saddle/bridle fits your horse. Here is  good site that has better QUALITY, but still VERY cheap :) I would, again, uggest the Wintec equitment from one of these sites xD

Good Luck with you new horsie.

(second one is cheapest i believe)

  2. I've heard that this is a good site and I've bought a bit off of it. You might want to got to your local tack shop to find a saddle and bridle because the saddle looks cheap but it might be the picture.

  3. well... you should get fly spray and for the lead rope you should get one with a chain so you get put it over the nose as a shank and blankets and shipping boots, polos and stirrup grips, bell boot( if needed)

  4. Yes it seems to be fine, i dont see why not. Just can i mention if you do decide to get a horse make sure your ready. GOOD LUCK!! :-)

  5. DONT GET ANYTHING FROM CHICKS SADDLERY!

Its all c**p, and just falls apart.

Try 123tack, or dover saddlery for all the stuff you need.

  6. i wldnt get ne thing from a website look at a local vets and ask them to put out a flyer and say lookin for wat ur lookin for

  7. Seems average price and quality like many other sites/ companies.

I have personally never shopped on this site, but there are others you can compare prices with that are nice.

    I like

    Schneiders and Stateline Tack.

Also, don't forget a basic first aid kit!

    Good Luck

  8. The grooming kit is ok, but brushes like the Otser brushes are by far the best ive used. The saddle package is also of cheaper quality... i would go with like a Collegiate brand saddle... you can find some really nice used saddle on ebay.

I would try sites like DOVER and Stateline Tack, or Big D's Saddlery for better quality a good prices.
