My main character is blind in his right eye. Is it legal for him to drive? He lives in London, if that matters.

  1. i don't know about London, but IRL, my Dad is blind in his right eye, and has a driver's license, and is a perfectly fine driver.

  2. That is legal just about everywhere, and definitely in the UK provided there is good vision and field of view in the other eye.

BUT.  Only for a normal car licence.  Public service vehicles (buses) and heavy goods vehicle licences do require people to have vision in both eyes.  So he can't legally be a trucker.
