  1. Jumping: What I did was went to a wall and found a height that seemed right for me, then I jumped and jumped until I finally touched that spot once I touched that spot I moved on to another spot that was a little higher, and so on, until I was a spot where I just couldn't hit the spot.

Blocking: Same with the blocking as the jumping, the only difference is, is to extend your arms as high as you can.

Serving: I STINK at overhand serving so recently I've just been going out in my backyard and hitting the ball with all my might. If your having trouble with height on the ball I suggest trying to hit it when the ball is well over your head and smacking it with an open palm. If you hit the ball at too low of an angle then it will go into the net....If your having a problem with the distance I suggest you just practice hitting the ball as hard as you can.

Tipping: All I know for tipping is to practice jumping, or you can hold the ball in one hand while jumping, then when you get to the top of your jump you just tap the ball with the tips of your fingers.

  2. attach ankle weights for added strength and jumping height.
