Republicans are saying Palin has the better experience because she has been a mayor and governor, while Obama is just a Senator.

Doesn't that mean that they think she has more experience and better qualified than McCain?

  1. It is not just that he is a Senator, but how long he has been one - which isn't very long at all.

  2. McCain has experience all around.  Military/Congress  Palin has executive experience (which Obama, McCain and Biden don't have).  Obama has 143 days experience pressing the present button.  Gimme a break.  Obama is the least qualified out of the 4 candidates.

  3. Lol yah, I am Republican but sadly I am 14 so I can't vote or go make a website that shows how stupid Democrats are and how dumb both sides arguments are. When people debate in politics the start making up things to make people believe they are better, and that's called fascism. In the world of politics fascism is one of the most important things that gets you somewhere nobody in politics gets anywhere with out lying.

  4. No, McCain has years of experience over her, she has more experianced than Obama.

  5. Seems that way. The Republicans are definitely having trouble setting a clear standard with this pick. If they say she's a new face in Washington, that means McCain is an old insider. If they say she has more executive experience, that means McCain has none. Really, they're trying to compare apples to oranges, and all four candidates on the major tickets have unique political experience and different abilities that they bring to the table.

That said, I think it's ridiculous that they claim Palin has more experience than anyone. She's controlled the richest state, with nearly the smallest in population, for less than 2 years. Her experience before that was as mayor of her small hometown. She only has a BA in Journalism, with no experience in law. Obama has served a term in the U.S. Senate, 2 terms in the Illinois Senate, a decade teaching constitutional law at University of Chicago, several years as a community organizer and civil rights attorney, and  graduated from both Columbia and Harvard. What's more, he got on the ticket the hard way, being elected by his party. Palin is from the far edge geographically and politically, and the  American people are going to have a very hard time relating to her.

  6. Oops! You just exposed a problem-- now they will have to change that story.....

  7. as a matter of fact Palin does have more executive experience then McCain being she is a governor

  8. McCain completed at least one term as Senator.

Obama didn't even finish HALF his first term!!!

That's like a guy starting in the mailroom in January, then decides in May that he wants to be CEO, and people actually consider letting him be CEO.

It's like we're watching that movie, "The Secret of My Success", and Obama thinks he's "Whitfield".

    Insanity.
