Okay, so i know how to hook up my car amp EXCEPT for the ground wire! What do I run the ground wire to?

i know to hook it to bare metal, but how do i get it to attach? duct tape? lol jk

Crimp a ring connector to the ground wire and attach it to a bolt somewhere.  Remove the nut from the bolt, place the ground on the bolt, and tighten the nut back down.

A ring terminal with a self tapping s***w if you don't have a bolt that you can unscrew to use.  Assuming that you're going to be in the trunk (you said car), see if you can get to where you can get a seat bolt out of the back seat and use that, that will attach you to the frame and give you better ground than just a random spot in the trunk.

haha no ducktape. connect it to the frame of your car. get creative with it. put a connective rings at the end and u can s***w it between your seat and the car( between the frame and the washer/bolt) i have mine under my box, i grinded the paint off  a small section , drilled a lil hole, screwd in my ground, then i put a small tack weld so it never move. if the ground isnt done right ur amp will keep shutting off. so make shur of yourself. see the black wire in the link? thats a great ground wire

use a self tapping s***w and s***w it to the bare metal making sure there is no paint on it....thats the easiest and best way

Ground is Gound. Attach it to the Chassy, Frame, or any other Ground in the car. there are a number of electrical kits you can purchase that will have the connectors to assist you in this effort. if you can't find a good ground, find a section of chassy or body, use sand paper and rub off the paint. Place your ground there and your good to go.
