Question:

Okay... Am I against the norm?

I've just read a question from someone who is a girl and often gets mistaken for a guy on here.

The best answer was from somebody who knew what they were taking about, and correcly deduced she was a girl from the following:

She used the word 'btw' in her question. Apparently that's a girl thing. Hold on...I do that too, and I'm a guy!!!!

She also has a cute animal as her avatar, which is also something that our knowledgable friend attributes to girls.

Hello? Look at mine. I'm MALE, for Pete's sake.

This answerer wasn't just some random person though. He/she was someone who would know these things.

I know there's no link to sexuality, I'm about as straight as you get, but....

...Am I too feminine?

  1. actually when you first added me as your contact, i thought you were a girl. no offense. don't question if you're too femine or not because if you're a guy, you're a guy. i'm sure about that.

and if your identity is also often being mistaken by the ppl here, i guess the reason is because you often put ((((hugs)))) Loving and peaceful in Nature in the end of your sentence.

    hope this helps!

  2. People sometimes associate things to particular gender ans that's stereotyping. Maybe you're in contact with your feminine side and that's good and no, it doesn't mean that you're g*y, just that you're sensitive.

BTW I use btw too and as you can see from my avatar I'm not a girl ;P

    I don't think you're too feminine.

  3. well let's see.....

"""About me: 24 years old, from outside the physical realm.

Likes to raise controversial subjects, and push the envelope a bit, getting to the heart of the matter without (hopefully) offending anyone.

Likes: Bran Muffins, Handbaskets, Kool-Aid, Certain VT's, Hugs, TU Fairies and wikkle kittens.

Dislikes: Mass debators, Trolls and TD Fairies

Also enjoys a heavenly blend of bunny rabbit specialist activities.

Has typical interest in Heavenly delights. WLTM a Heavenly Bunny with similar passion, and a willingness to share a hutch. """"

And how do you know about how straight "other" people get?

  4. You're a cyclist NOT a biker!

Now go and put your toys back in the pram!

  5. In response to kler829: How about an evil hypno-kitty?

    ((((hugs))))

  6. Nothing wrong with being in touch with your feminine side. Its a turn on for alot of women. I dont know how old you are, if your young it might be tough now, but when you get older it will work to your advantage.

  7. how come it takes so little for you boys to put a risk your masculinity?

  8. How many bikers (for example) would use a fluffy bunny to represent them?

I would say that you are definitely 'in touch with your feminine side'   -  and that's putting it politely.

ps -- ha ha ha - yeah right!

  9. What is supposed to be the norm these days?....just be yourself........i have a male pic on my profile...but can assure you I AM all WOMAN and also 'about as straight as you can get'.......I just don't think a pic is that important...and also I can't be arsed to put one on here............no you are not being too feminine!

  10. Think of it this way...I'll give you a few snippets of my display pictures and my usual phrases:

My msn display pic varies from a picture of a knitted dog to a picture of a guy in armour.

Now judging by that, would you think I'm a guy or a girl?

I do use phrases such as 'btw', 'ty', 'np', 'dw'...

Now am I a guy or a girl?

Well...first statement about my picture. The dog, I knitted, the guy in armour is my game character. Second statent about my phrases. I don't type fast and I can't type fast enough, so I abbreviate phrases that people will get, plus I am a gamer and those phrases are used quite often so they are like second nature to me.

So am I a guy or a girl? I am in fact a girl. If you thought I was a girl, well done, if you thought I was a guy, then question for you...am I to masculine?

I think this is to do with sterotyping as guys stereotype girls' traits and girls stereotype guys' traits.

  11. well with the btw thing i never use that. im a guy, I would never think of having a animal picture and would never use the words cute and animal in the same sentence as you have done. I may use the words animals and A1 steak sauce in the same sentence.

Maybe you need to rethink your life a bit? sorry to notifiy you  but i thought you were a chick when i read your question and you spelled out okay and not normal. Seems to me you could be g*y? I am sorry to tell you this.

  12. u are too feminine....a cute animal is usually what girls do....why dont u put a bear, or tiger or lion or sumthing fierce.

  13. Don't let some silly question cause you to no longer be secure in your manhood. Come on, your better than that! Don't get caught up in all that stereotypical macho BS.

  14. first of all whats normal nothing i, you should be watever you want, use wateva pics you want to, im glad someone will be themselves for once good on you, ignore wat other people say because ive found that they usually say these things to cover up there own insecurities, jus think if everyone was the same this life wuld be borin i say be who you want to be =) if they have a problem with that then thats there problem not yours

  15. I think you should concentrate your focus on being too much of a spazzmod.

  16. Whichever way mate you are ,at the very least, a trifle contrived and self invested, dont ya think?

rabbits are not at all like that

  17. Obviously people [wrongly] assume that you are female from your lovely bunny avatar because it is generally thought that women are more likely to use this type of avatar than a male. It doesn't mean that you are too feminine, it mean that the public are too quick to judge.

  18. As st8 as you get dont you mean something else

    little bunny rabbit???
