Ive asked does God know the future and most Christians believe so.

Now knowing the future why create someone he knows is not going to be a Christian and send them to h**l? please keep in mind this is not a free will question this is simply why create someone you already know you are going to send to h**l that's it plain and simple. think about it don't just quote scripture I really struggled with this before choosing my religion.

  1. Proverbs 16:4

  2. I'm not a Christian but I know everything about everything ever:

Think of the hall of souls like God cleaning out his closet.  He put's it all through the wash, and whatever isn't an unholy mess after it's cycle doesn't get TRASHED.

  3. Why, indeed?  Isn't it amazing?  God created a being, with many of His qualities:  reasoning, creativity, love, free will, etc.    God created a creature and gave said creature the ability to reject Him.

I think it grieves God that His creation not only chose to rebel, but then continue to refuse the free gift He offers to bring us back to Him.

Could God have created a being that simply obeyed what He said?  Certainly.  But then that creature would be without free will.

You could ask, why were we even put on this planet in the first place?  I don't have an answer to that, but keep in mind that even angels in heaven rebelled.  They were right there with God, yet freely chose to take a different path.  Yikes!

I'm not a mindless automaton.  I freely chose to follow God.

  4. Actually, I've often wondered this very same question, more specifically, though concerning Adam and Eve.

  5. Well, the truth is God doesn't actually know the future but he does know every individual so well he can pretty much predict it so to speak. But i'd like to say that God didn't know where sin came from  and when aroused in heaven he called it "A Great Mystery". Every individual has the choice to follow or not and God can just predict every possible action to a consequence if you get the gist. He gave us free will which doesn't mean killing us or making us cease to exist before we "Choose" not to accept the gift of eternerl life.

  6. Christians will say God doesn't send you to h**l, but your actions do.

However, omniscience and freeewill contradict each other so that argument fails.

  7. Those who do not choose Jesus in this life will miss the first Judgment, and stay in the ground during the Kingdom Period. At the end of that, they will be raised and get to see both Jesus and Satan without mystery, and then they make their final decision. If they still botch it, what can anyone do?

  8. The Bible says Jesus is the Saviour of the world. Our salvation or afterlife is not dependent on our belief system. It is not His will that any should perish. h**l is reserved for the devil and his angels. You don't have a reservation. Jesus saved you. PERIOD. He saved me. He didn't ask if that was OK with anybody. Unlike Evan Almighty I AM not empowered to revoke the Lord Jesus' work or intent. Jesus did not die on a cross so 2000 years I could come along and s***w up His plan. Other  views are wrong and unbiblical. email me.

  9. Well, first your question assumes that all Christians believe that all non-Christians are going h**l.

Only a small number of Christians actually believe that.

All people will be judged on their actions and deeds, their words are only a small part of that.

  10. And who told you that each and every one of us was created only at birth?

For god told Jeremiah "i knew you before i placed you in your mothers womb"

  11. thats a deep question ive often wondered about. theres a tradition that says  GOD created us as sort of a test for the angels. it says that the cause for the fall of satan and the other fallen angels was a question: "do we need GOD?" or "can we do a better job than GOD?" once that question was asked it had to be answered once and for all. so GOD sent satan and his angels down to earth to rule over man. the angels in heaven are watching to see how it all plays out. in order for the question to be answered, GOD has to allow us to either choose to follow Him or to reject him. i know that this is just a tradition and its not scriptural but its something to think about. one thing thats for sure is there is a purpose for it. a simpler way to look at it is  that GOD wants us to choose to follow Him, not to follow him because we were just programmed to and have no choice in the matter.

  12. You may think it is not a freewill question, but it does require a freewill answer. Even though God knows what will happen, He still allows us to make the choice. It really is not that hard to comprehend.  +?+

  13. Your problem is that you think God sends people to eternal damnation and this is not true. God has provided the only means of escaping eternal damnation because of His love for each one of us. God does know how each person will choose, yet He does not interfere with that choice in any way. If you were drowning and someone threw you a life preserver, would you take it? If you didn't, who would be responsible for your demise? The thing is, no one has to go to h**l because God has provided The Way to be saved- Jesus Christ. Anyone who goes to h**l has chosen to reject God's gift- the life preserver, if you will- and has chosen their eternal destiny. God has merely given them exactly what they want- an eternity without God.

  14. I think satan asked that question after he was thrown down to h**l.
