  1. sprints- you need  to move very fast across the court, and be able to change diection quickly too

    jumprope- it'l help with your ups

    push ups- shoulder muscles are used in almost all skills

    situps/crunches- a strong core will make everything you do more powerful

    squats/lunges- your leg muscles should be very developed


  2. lunges would help a lot.

    Wall sits will help you get your thighs stronger so that you'd be able to get low and stay low to pass the ball

    Practicing jumping will help you increase your vertical jump, which is essential to volleyball.

    Sprints are good for volleyball also, due to the fact that speed is essential to volleyball.That will also help with your foot work, which is another essential aspect to volleyball.

    Push ups are great for working out your arms and shoulders.

    These are all work outs that you can do at your house without weights so that means you can do them at any time.

  3. well of course, there is the obvious. just passing to yourself. if you are new at volleyball. your arms will get very sore.

    you can practice your aim and arm strength by just hitting the ball with your palm at the wall.

    also, if you are planning to be a setter then just set to yourself over and over until you get good.
