Okay I'm thinking about starting volleyball. Is there any tips or suggestions you have for me?

Or maybe even any terms that I should know? I'm really interested in doing volleyball and I need to get as educated as possible!!!

  1. Make sure u can actually hit the ball. I can't and I hate it but that's just one of my skills. Soccer is my game, Softball is my game, Football is my game, Volleyball........isnt.


  2. do not be afraid of being hit by the ball, this comes in handy in many ball games, which is why im no good at them!

  3. your hands get really sore at first :(

    but after a while you get used to it.

    also, make sure you get used to WALL SITS. ugghhh, i hate them.

    dont ever touch the net, or step over the line under the net.

  5. 1: Bump the ball against the wall, do this until you can do it 200 times without missing.

  7. I did volleyball, it just hurts your hands, the ball is heavy.

  8. well since your just starting out you should probably try out all positions and choose one that your comfortable and good at. Then you can start getting infomation because you'll know what you'll need the info. on.

  9. warning: Serving is hard so if your not good at it from the start thats normal

  10. Go to gym, eat vegetables and don't do too much with your BF.

    when the other team serves at you, it's called serve recieve, and if they lose the serve, it's called a side out.
